A spring drive for a furniture drawer pulls the drawer shut in the final phase of the closing movement. The springs are of unequal length and are both fitted between a fixed point and the drawer when the drawer is first pulled out. At a preset point one of the springs is detached and clipped to a fixed point (6) in the stretched mode. The other springs continues to provide a resistance and can be clipped to a second fixed point, leaving the drawer free to move. When the drawer is closed the springs are unclipped in turn and ease the closing action. |
