<p>A seat reclining device (1) is comprised of a base member (5) connected to one of a seat back (3) and a seat cushion (2); a rotating member (7) connected to the other of the seat back (3) and the seat cushion (2); a lock tooth (10) having an external gear (10d) engageable with the internal gear (7a) of the rotating member; a shaft portion (11) having an inner-periphery guiding surface for swinging the lock tooth (10) on the shaft portion (11); and a weak portion (10f) formed at an end portion of the lock tooth (10) opposite to the external gear (10d) across the shaft portion (11).
