A network-based A/V(Audio/Video) system is provided to connect various AV terminals previously to an AV multiplexer without connecting AV home appliances in the rear of an AV display device, thereby easily selecting and outputting A/V sources by using an AV selection switch. An AV(Audio/Video) selection switch(600) is connected with an AV multiplexer(100) through a UTP(Universal Personal Telecommunication) cable so as to supply power and signals. At least a part of the AV selection switch is exposed. The AV selection switch includes plural switches for source selection and has an RF(Radio Frequency) module so as to be controlled by an external remote controller(650). During operation by the remote controller or operation of the AV selection switch mounted on the wall, one of plural AV inputs installed in the AV multiplexer is selected and outputted to an AV output terminal(130) of an AV display device(200).
