A vacuum cleaner having a sensor part and an automatic wheel driving part are provided to improve operability by freely driving wheels for maintaining distance with a suction nozzle in a predetermined distance. A vacuum cleaner having a sensor part and an automatic wheel driving part comprises a main body, plural wheels installed at the main body, a wheel driving part, a suction nozzle part, sensors(62, 64) installed at the main body, sensors(61, 63) installed at the suction nozzle part to be corresponding to an infrared ray sensor of the main body, and a control part. The suction nozzle part is connected through the main body, a suction pipe, and a fold pipe. The control part controls the wheel driving part according to a relative position of the suction nozzle part and the main body by transmitting/receiving the sensor of the main body and a sensor of the suction nozzle part corresponding to the sensor of the main body.
