METHOD FOR TRANSRECEIVING SCAN DATA OF WIRELESS INPUT DEVICE USING MULTI-DIMENSIONAL SPACE MAPPING AND WIRELESS INPUT DEVICE FOR THE SAME

A method for transceiving scan data through multi-dimensional space mapping of a wireless input device and a wireless input device for the same are provided to prevent a transfer error of a function key value transmitted to an STB(Set-Top Box) from the wireless input device effectively and increase a data input speed of the wireless input device. A key position code value of each input key of the wireless input device is assigned to a multi-dimensional coordinate value over 3-dimension. The wireless input device generates the key position code value from the multi-dimensional coordinate value assigned to the input key and transmits the scan data including the key position code value. A receiver interconnected with the wireless input device receives the scan data. The receiver determines a code value of the input key by interpreting the received scan data based on a mapping table, which arranges the multi-dimensional coordinate values by matching with a character value of the input key.
