A double bite holder for an NC lathe and a method for manufacturing a plastic packing using the same are provided to eliminate the necessity of chamfering process by forming grooves on inner and outer surfaces of a workpiece. An NC lathe includes a chuck, a reciprocating board, a slider, and a fixed holder(12) and a movable holder(13) on which first and second bites(16,17) are fixed. The fixed holder is fixed on the slider, and the movable holder is arranged at one side of the fixed holder such that the movable holder moves along the direction orthogonal to the rotation axis direction of a workpiece. The fixed holder and the movable holder are fixed with air inlet pipes(14,15) having air inlet ports(14a,15a). The air inlet pipes have front ends equipped with the first and second bites. The holders have sides on which discharge pipes(18,19) are connected to air inlet pipes.
