A strip marking device is provided to realize marking of excellent quality by preventing dispersion and scattering of an ink marked on a surface of a strip. A strip marking device comprises a marking roll(20) which has marking parts(50) and rotatably installed on a marking position, wherein the marking parts include an ink drum(52) which stores a predetermined amount of ink and has an ink discharge port formed thereon, an ink blocking plate(54) movably installed to open or close the ink discharge port, a spring(55) for providing the ink blocking plate with elasticity in a direction where the ink blocking plate closes the ink discharge port, and a magnet(56) connected to the ink blocking plate to move the ink blocking plate in a direction where the ink blocking plate opens the ink discharge port by magnetism when the magnet is adjacent to a strip, and wherein the marking roll further has an adsorption fabric(24) installed to cover the exterior.
