A railway sleeper is provided to prevent the sleeper from being pushed off the position by lateral or vertical pressure, and to prevent rails from being deformed during summer or winter by expansion or contraction by screwing resistors integrated with resistance members to threaded taps disposed on an underside of the sleeper. A railway sleeper(110) has threaded taps disposed on an underside of a main body(110a) of the sleeper. The taps have internal threads. Resistors(200) have assembling members. The assembling members have external threads. The assembling members are screwed to the taps, enabling the resistors to be assembled to the underside of the sleeper. Resistance members(220) are integrally disposed below the assembling members, and provide the resisting force to the resistors. The taps and the assembling member allow the resistors to be screwed on or screwed off the sleepers easily, and allow easy positioning of the resistance members in a direction as needed depending on the section of the rail where the sleeper is installed.
