DIAGONSTIC FORMULATION FOR TSUTSUGAMUSHI DISEASE

A diagnostic formulation of Tsutsugamushi disease is provided to improve the convenience and sensitivity of detection by removing a cultivation process and detecting an antibody against Orientia tsutsugamushi in a biological sample. A diagnostic kit for Tsutsugamushi disease comprises (a) a sample pad for absorbing a biological sample, (b) a gold conjugation pad for binding to a human antibody in the sample, (c) a test membrane having a test line containing a mixed Tsutsugamushi antigen and a control line containing a control protein, and (d) an absorption pad for absorbing a remaining amount of sample, wherein the test membrane further has a pretest line containing the extract of Escherichia coli expressing no Tsutsugamushi antigen protein prior to the test line.
