A multi-purpose vending machine is provided to connect to the internet directly through a PC or a notebook computer by forming the wireless internet environment around the periphery and to monitor a vending machine body and the area around the vending machine body by a monitoring camera. A multi-purpose vending machine comprises a goods selling device(1); a wire/wireless AP(Access Point)/hub(2) connected with an internet network(3) to provide the wire/wireless internet environment to a PC/notebook(4) existing around the vending machine; a network camera(5) monitoring the area around the vending machine and transmitting a monitored image to an external storing device(10) through the wire/wireless AP/hub by the internet; an HDD(Hard Disk Drive,7) receiving peripheral images output from the monitoring camera through the wire internet and storing the received images; an image display device(9) attached on the front side of the vending machine to receive images of goods or advertising images from an external server(8) for advertisement through the wire/wireless AP/hub and display the received images; a controller(6) controlling the goods selling device and the image display device; and an administrator PC(14) enabling an administrator to connect to the external storing device through the internet and monitor the images. |
