A method, a terminal, and a system for providing hybrid contents are provided to generate the hybrid contents combining data found in the network and the data stored in a user terminal, and control the generated hybrid contents, thereby enabling a user to generate various and new contents conveniently. A communicator(570) receives information for first source data obtained by searching the source data stored in the network based on condition information. A source data searcher(522) obtains and provides the information for second source data by searching the data stored in the terminal based on the condition information. An interface provider(510) displays at least one of the information for the obtained first and second source data to a predetermined area in a screen of the terminal, and provides a canvas area, which enables the user to generate the hybrid contents by adding at least one of the displayed information for the first and second sources, to a part neighboring to the predetermined area. |
