A plasma display device is provided to prevent peak current and to enhance the stability by using a thermal fusible resistor. A selection circuit(400) is connected to a scan electrode in order to apply a voltage of a first stage and a voltage of a second stage to the scan electrode. A first power source is used for supplying the voltage of the first stage. A second power source is used for supplying the voltage of the second stage. A thermal fusible resistor is positioned between the first stage and the first power source. The thermal fusible resistor includes a resistor and a temperature fuse for blocking the current according to the temperature of the resistor. A diode is connected between the thermal fusible resistor and the first power source. A transistor is connected between the second power source and the second stage. A capacitor is connected between a common thermal of the thermal fusible resistor and the diode, and the second stage.
