A safety protection cover for a roadside utility pole is provided to prevent corroding of anchor bolts fixing a support plate to the ground by enclosing a pair of protection cover over the support plate, to beautify the street by installing plant receptacles, to make the utility pole easily identifiable by attaching phosphorescent reflective sheets on the protection covers, and to prevent a blind person from running into the utility pole by installing tread sensors in the ground around the utility pole and a controller flashing warning lights and sounding an alarm upon receiving signals from the tread sensors. A safety protection cover(110) is comprised of a pair of protection cover. The symmetric protection covers are placed facing one another so as to enclose and protect a support plate(40) of a utility pole(10). Each protection covers has a space(111) for accommodating the support plate, and has a semicircular groove(112) on an upper part for accommodating the utility pole. On contacting surfaces of the protection covers, protruding flanges(115), having coupling holes(114), are disposed. Phosphorescent reflective sheets(117) are attached on outer surfaces of the protection covers by using adhesives(116). A unit of installation frame(120), comprised of two symmetric installation frames, is installed covering a lower section of outer peripheral of the utility pole. On each of the installation frame, a connection tube(121) for accommodating the outer peripheral of the utility pole, is disposed on an inner side thereof. On an upper end of each connection tube, a receptacle(123) partitioned into plural compartments by partitions(122) is disposed. The receptacles are for planting plants, and have upper ends exposed. Assembly holes(125) are disposed on partitions contacting each other for fixing the installation frames on the utility pole by using bolts(124). A hollow buoyancy tube(127) is disposed on a lower part of each connection tube for allowing the installation frames to stay float above the water line when the street is flooded. A connection band(130) placed on an outer peripheral of the two connection tubes tightly adheres the two tubes. Plural sensor plates(140), capable of detecting tread pressure of an approaching blind person, are buried in grounds around the utility pole. The sensors send signals to a controller(150), and the controller in turn operates warning lights(160) and speakers(170) alternatively installed on outer peripherals of the receptacles.
