A horizontal looper is provided to be able to wind the strip band using low power by adopting a simple structure capable of horizontally winding a strip band, wind a strip band having at least a predetermined thickness, and avoid a height limitation of the equipment installation space. In a looper for winding a strip band(1) supplied from an uncoiler to discharge the strip band to a tube forming machine, a horizontal looper comprises: a base frame plate installed on the ground horizontally; a drum part(200) which is fixed to the base frame plate and has a cylindrical guiding surface to wind circularly a strip band supplied from the uncoiler; a pinch roll part(300) including a pair of guiding rollers(302) for supporting the strip band to supply the strip band supplied from the uncoiler to the drum part, and a pair of transfer rollers(304) connected to a drive motor(502) to move the strip band forward; a central drum part(400) fixed to the center of the base frame plate to supply the strip band supplied from the drum part to the tube forming machine; and a drive part(500) for winding the strip band on the central drum part.
