A fussy rule-based system for restricting a delivery area in a wireless sensor network and a restricting method thereof are provided to restrict message transmission to an unnecessary area during message transmission between sensor nodes under a wireless sensor network environment having restricted resources, thereby efficiently reducing energy consumption. A base station(10) comprises the followings. A receiver receives information request from a client. A message unit generates a request message(30), which is transmitted to plural sensor nodes(41), by using the request received by the receiver. A memory(103) stores location information, energy information and density information of the plural sensor nodes. A threshold value selector(104) calculates a threshold value of restoring a message delivery area from the base station to a destination area(70) to which the request message will be transmitted. |
