A method for blasting an elevator chamber structure of a building is provided to be able to reduce dust and noise generated during demolition of the building by containing a predetermined amount of water in an elevator chamber of the building, loading explosives into the contained water, and collapsing the elevator chamber structure. A method for blasting an elevator chamber structure(1) of a building comprises: a steel pipe installing step of installing a plurality of steel pipes(11) across an elevator chamber of a building; a sealing step of installing a bottom plate at an upper side of the steel pipes and blocking an entrance of the elevator chamber; a waterproof sheet installing step of installing a waterproof sheet(31) on an inner part of the elevator chamber; a fence installing step of installing a fence on an outer face of the elevator chamber structure to prevent scattering of fragments generated during blasting; and a blasting step of containing water to a predetermined elevation within a space surrounded by the waterproof sheet, loading explosives(41) into the contained water, and blasting the explosives to break down the elevator chamber structure. |
