#CMT# #/CMT# The line (2) has a liquid injector that is provided between an internal combustion engine and a gas processing system. The injector injects a liquid into the line along a direction non-parallel to an axis of the line. Helical surface irregularities (7) are provided on a part of an inner wall (3). The irregularities are placed on a liquid path in the line. The irregularities reduce or increase a section of circulation of gas in the line. The irregularities are provided in form of slots or tubing on an inner surface in the line. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method for evaporating a liquid in an exhaust line of an internal combustion engine. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Exhaust line for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The line permits to optimize evaporation and mixing of the liquid into gas flux circulating in the line, by using energy of the gas, without changing encumbrance of the line, while permitting to limit stopper effect. The introduction of the irregularities permits to increase path taken by the liquid, thus increasing time during which the liquid exchanges heat with the wall of the tube and hence facilitating evaporation of the liquid. The helical shape of the irregularities allows a helical movement to improve mixing and stirring of vapors of liquid compound with the gas, so that the exhaust gas remains in contact with the injected liquid for a long time to guide the liquid in an easy manner. The line permits to force evaporation of the liquid in the line of the internal combustion engine, by taking into account architecture and limited space at level of the line.
