<p>The ship hatch (11) construction can be folded open and has an insulating intermediate layer. It has a fixture frame which is fitted in a deck (2) of a ship and via a hinge component hinged to the fixture frame. It also involves a connecting strip (8) with a hatch. The fixture frame comprises an inner frame part (7) and a separate deck fitting part (5), between which is an insulating intermediate layer.
