The device has a drum (1) with a horizontal rotational axis and a perforated lateral surface for passage of fluid e.g. air. Two flexible belts (2) pass over the lateral surface at a distance from each other and each passes over idle guide rollers (3). Each roller is pivotably mounted around another axis perpendicular to the rotational axis and is provided in a median plane perpendicular to the axis of the roller.
