The method involves creating musical contents from a musical sequence by application of a filter. A base containing the contents and pre-existing contents is created based on the coherence with created contents. A nomenclature of psycho-acoustic descriptors is defined, and a table defining a score for content is constructed. A sub-assembly of descriptors is defined, and a list of mixing functions is constructed, where the function is connected to a track and applied to a content candidate resulting in a relevant ratio of the candidate. The candidate with maximum result of function is selected. An independent claim is also included for an equipment for the generation of music.
