The invention provides a process for the production of brittle resin film by extruding a molten brittle resin through a T-die into a non-oriented film which is freed from cracking in handling in the production step or after the production; and a brittle resin film little suffering from cracking. The process comprises melting a brittle resin (A) and a tough resin (B) under heating in respective extruders separately, feeding the molten resins (A, B) separately into respective molten resin feed pipes connected to the extruders respectively, then feeding the molten resins (A, B) into a feed block formed by drilling the resin (A) feed pipe on both sides of the lower part and connecting the end of the resin (B) feed pipe to the holes, spreading the resins (A,B) in a manifold connected to the feed block, and extruding the resins (A, B) through die lips of the T-die onto a casting roll in such a way that the resin (B) is present on both sides of the resin (A) to form a non-oriented brittle film whose central part is made of the brittle resin and whose edges are made of the tough resin.
