<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium processing device which can prevent wrong insertion of a card or a foreign substance, has dust resistance and secrecy and furthermore, is easy for maintenance and check. <P>SOLUTION: A medium processing device (card reader 1) which reads or writes information from/to an information recording medium is equipped with a front member (bezel 11); which has a loading slot 11a in which an information recording medium is loaded a running path on which an information recording medium runs from the loading slot 11a to a back side of a main body of the device 12; a shutter (PIN shutter 15) which is prepared at an edge of the front member 11 of the main body of the device, moves in/moves out to/from the running path, and prevents loading of an information recording medium into main body of equipment 12; and a dust protection member (dust protection sheet 18) which is arranged between the front member 11 and the PIN shutter 15 and blocks the running path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
