PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print symbols having a high reading rate by suppressing uneven contrast.

SOLUTION: A laser beam machine comprises a laser control section for controlling a laser oscillating section and a laser beam scanning system, a machining condition set-up section for setting the machining condition for machining a required machining pattern, and a machining data generating section for generating the machining data necessary for performing the machining based on the machining condition set up in the machining condition setup section. The machining condition setup section further comprises a machining pattern inputting means for inputting the machining pattern, a machining block setup means 3F which sets up a plurality of machining blocks within a working region and can set up the machining patterns for every machining block, and a density setup means 3G which can adjust the density of the machining object surface after machining for every machining block set up in the machining block setup means 3F.
