PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod integrator device capable of efficiently cooling a rod integrator. SOLUTION: The rod integrator device 1 is equipped with the rod integrator 10 which uniformizes the luminance distribution of emitted light from a light source. It is equipped with a holder 20 holding the rod integrator 10 by coming into contact therewith on the side surface thereof.
