PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for squeezing fruits, free from mixing bitterness of fruit skin without peeling the outer skin of favorful acid citrus fruits. SOLUTION: This apparatus for squeezing citrus fruits has a transport belt conveyor which positions upper and lower calyx parts of citrus fruits on an opened space, and has a plurality of receiving plates for contacting the trunk part of a fruit main body to place, 2 cutting blades which are oppositely arranged at fixed intervals on a belt move direction downstream of the transfer belt conveyor, for cutting off both the sides of the upper and lower calyx parts of citrus fruits in a condition of exposing fruit flesh, and a pair of squeezing crawler driven crawler belts which are oppositely arranged on the downstream of the blades to constrict gradual intervals, for pushing the fruit skin part of a circumferential surface between a pair of constricted crawler belts to squeeze, to a drum-like main body of remaining parts of fruits whose upper and lower calyx parts are cut off. Squeezing is performed through cutting off both the sides of the upper and lower calyx parts of citrus fruits in a condition of exposing fruit flesh, and adding thrust from the fruit skin part of a circumferential surface to the inside.
