<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform color processing in accordance with a request on the image receiving side by generating an image signal using color processing parameters which are set depending on the request for a second unit and transmitting the image signal to the second unit. <P>SOLUTION: In the network camera system, parameters are set for the image processing parameter setting means of a first unit from a second unit, the image processing parameter setting means sets the parameters thus set as parameters used by an image signal processing means, and an image signal distribution means distributes an image signal generated by the image signal processing means of the first unit using the parameters from the first unit to the second unit.
