<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking lot management system eliminating a need of complicated admission procedures for providing a point service. <P>SOLUTION: The parking lot management system comprises a head office server 10, a database 11 wherein vehicle numbers and numbers of cumulative service points are stored in association with each other, a parking lot terminal device 15, an adjustment machine 16, a bumping device 17, and a camera 18 for photographing a number plate. When a vehicle enters a parking lot, the parking lot terminal device 15 photographs its number plate by the camera 18 to recognize its vehicle number and transmits the vehicle number to a head office server 10. The head office server 10 newly registers the vehicle number in the case that the vehicle number is not registered with the database 11. In the case that the vehicle number is registered, the parking lot terminal device 15 reduces the parking fee in accordance with the number of service points when the vehicle leaves the parking lot. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
