PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a limited power supply capacity of a detection sensor. SOLUTION: A signal processing unit 14 of a sensor transmitting and receiving device 10<SB>n</SB>starts power supply to all the function units related to radio signals in response to the detection of any abnormal state, and controls to stop the power supply according to the reception of a response signal from a security master device 20 within a prescribed time period after the start of the power supply. On the other hand, if the response signal is not received a prescribed time after the start of the power supply, the unit 14 controls so as to stop the power supply in response to the transmission of prescribed detection signals.
