PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new type of cellulose fiber molded products and provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: A cellulosic fiber, such as pulp or the like, is mixed with a water-soluble adhesive or an aqueous emulsion adhesive of glucomannan or the like and the molded bodies are obtained from the resultant molding material. At this time, a lignophenol derivative or a complex material from the lignophenol derivative and a partially hydrolyzed hydrocarbon functioning as a binder for the molding material, is added to the molding material thereby improving the strength and the waterproofing property and further increasing the dimensional stability of the molded products.
