PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the most appropriate steering performance in response to various work conditions, particularly at the time of a shift from a turning condition to a directly advancing condition. SOLUTION: When a crawler vehicle is changed from a turning condition to a directly advancing condition, the modulation characteristics (static characteristic, dynamic characteristic) of a clutch brake are changed, and a steering control signal for obtaining a hydraulic characteristic, in which the temporal rate of change of a clutch hydraulic pressure from clutch connection start time to connection finish time is set smaller than that at the time of normal travelling, is output to an electronic proportional control valve.
