The engine has two cylinder banks (ZB1, ZB2) with crank pins (Z1-Z6). Each crank pin exhibits a crankshaft (KW) and includes a seat. Different skew angles are provided between the crank pin seats so as to adjust the ignition cycle during operation of the engine. Cylinders (1-12) are arranged in V/W-shape so that piston rods of the cylinders are fixed at the same crank pin of the crankshaft. |
