A method for performing LDPC(Low Density Parity Check) encoding is provided to transmit only an additional parity bit by making a specific parity bit equal even though code rate is decreased. According to a method for performing LDPC(Low Density Parity Check) encoding, a parity check matrix is generated by using a model matrix constituted with at least one sub block with constant size. Encoding for information bits to be transmitted to a receiver is performed by using the generated parity check matrix. The parity part of the model matrix includes a plurality of regions. A first region of the plurality of regions includes a dual diagonal component of an upper triangle structure, and a second region includes a component shifting the dual diagonal component of the upper triangle structure to the direction of row.
