An apparatus for generating water gas is provided to generate high efficiency of water gas by maximizing electrolyzing efficiency of water to mix water with sodium hydroxide or hydroxide. An apparatus for generating water gas comprises a water purifying filter(2), an auxiliary tank(7), an electrolytic cell tank(11), a radiator(16), a water purifying filter, a recycling electrolyte tank, a normal nucleic acid tank(18), and a water gas nozzle jetting port(22). The water purifying filter(2) filters iron from running water. The auxiliary tank generates water gas such as hydrogen generated due to electrolysis of water by installing an electrolyte(8) to be supplied by water filtered through the water purifying filter. The electrolytic cell tank electrolyzes an electrolytic cell(9) to be connected with the auxiliary tank. The radiator cools heat of the electrolyte passed by a fan(15) and supplies the electrolyte to the electrolytic cell tank by a circulating pump(33). The water purifying filter transmits a hydroxide filtered from the electrolyte of the electrolytic cell tank to the recycling electrolyte tank. The recycling electrolyte tank supplies the electrolyte purified by the water purifying filter to the electrolytic cell tank by adjusting combination of the electrolyte by an electrolyte diluting screw(28). The normal nucleic acid tank discharges water gas generated from the auxiliary tank with a normal nucleic acid solution(19) by generating air bubbles. The water gas nozzle jetting port jets out the water gas discharged from the normal nucleic acid tank. Further, the auxiliary tank contains a level sensor for adjusting the emitted water gas.
