<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording and reproducing device and a method which can facilitate management of various recorded programs using folders. <P>SOLUTION: The video recording and reproducing device comprises a receiving means 13 of receiving a program and storing means (19 and S203).
