PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly measure a dusting amount of asbestos from the surface of an asbestos-containing material. SOLUTION: The periphery of a measuring target region is airtightly covered with a cover 2 so as to measure the dusting amount of asbestos from the specific region of the surface of the asbestos-containing material being a measuring target 1 and a predetermined flow rate of air streams are blown against the measuring target region at a predetermined flow speed by sending air into the cover to forcibly produce the dust of asbestos. The dust of asbestos scattered within the cover is sucked from inside of the cover and collected by a membrane filter 4a to measure the collection amount of asbestos and the dusting amount of asbestos is measured on the basis of the air sending amount into the cover and the suction amount from inside of the cover.
