PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punching device for a composite material, which performs punching work with a cleanly sheared face without generation of punching defects when forming a punched hole in a composite material, or punching a punched piece corresponding to the punched hole, a die hole, from a composite material. SOLUTION: The punching device for a composite material punches the composite material 3, which is prepared by peelably pasting a release sheet 32 onto an adhesive layer 31 formed on one side of a metal sheet 30, while setting the composite material on a die 1 such that the release sheet faces the die 1. A recess part 21 is formed inside a blade land part 20 so that the blade land part is formed on the peripheral edge of the end face of a punch 2.
