PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enhancing the reactivation of a chemically modified enzyme. SOLUTION: The method for enhancing the reactivation of a reversibly deactivated thermostable enzyme involves a step for reactivating at least one kind of the reversibly deactivated thermostable enzyme in the presence of one or more kinds of nitrogen-containing compounds.
