PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which enables the more accurate sensing of the positions of game balls rolling in a first and second game areas. SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with the first game area 15 where the game balls roll, the second game area 301 disposed behind the first game area 15 and a liquid crystal display device 32 with a light sensor disposed behind the second game area 301. The positions of the game balls existing in the second game area 301 are sensed with a light sensor 321 provided on the liquid crystal display device 32 with a light sensor 321. In this arrangement, the back 15a of the first game area 15 is corrugated in its cross section to make light emitted from the light sensor 321 reflect being scatted on the back 15a, thereby keeping it from reaching the inside of the first game area 15.
