PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckled crimped yarn which contains a non-petroleum polymer, polylactate polymer, improves the durability, such as abrasion resistance and bulkiness loss resistance, of carpet, improves functional characteristics such as stepping touch and hand, and is suitable for the carpet, and to provide a carpet using the buckled crimped yarn. SOLUTION: This buckled crimped yarn comprises a blend of polylactate polymer (A) with a polyamide polymer (B), and has a crimp elongation of 5 to 25% and a coefficient of single filament cross sectional area variation (CV%) of 0.1 to 5.0%.
