PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for melt-spinning a polyester fiber, having a high flexibility, forming a uniform melt-spun yarns and enabling a stable cooling in producing the polyester fiber. SOLUTION: This device for melt-spinning, cooling and solidifying the polyester fiber spun from a spinneret by a cooling and solidifying device is characterized by having a ring-formed cooling wind-blowing out part of the cooling and solidifying device, a pressure-equalizing chamber for uniformly blowing out the cooling wind at the lower part than the cooling wind-blowing out part, and a shorter perpendicular distance (a) from an uppermost part of the cooling wind-blowing out part to spinneret surface than a perpendicular distance (b) from the lower surface of a spinning block to the uppermost part of the cooling wind-blowing out part.
