PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-side simultaneous printing thermal printer which reduces damage of devices and a load when a paper is conveyed, and which has a long life and a high reliability. SOLUTION: The double-side simultaneous printing thermal printer comprises a first thermal head 31 set at a first surface side of a paper conveyance path 22, a second thermal head 41 set at a second surface side of the paper conveyance path 22, a roller arm 28 which makes a pinch roller 27 hold the paper P between a feed roller 26 and the pinch roller at the time of reverse conveyance, and a head arm 33 which makes the first thermal head 31 hold the paper P between a first platen roller 32 and the first thermal head when the first thermal head carries out printing.
