PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate truing work, and to efficiently perform truing. SOLUTION: This truing device includes: a wire take-up means 10 for arranging a plurality of wires W to which abrasives are fixed and taking up the wires W while tension is applied thereto; and a tool holding, rotating and pressing means 20 which holds a rotary tool B with the working surface directed to the rotating shaft, and presses the rotary tool B to the wire take-up means 10 while rotating the same, wherein the wire W is formed of one wire, rollers L are provided in positions before and behind a part to which the rotary tool B is pressed, the wire W is wound round these rollers L, and at the position where the rotary tool B is pressed, the wires W are arranged in a multiple.
