PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for easily cleaning a part to store water by making the part detachable and for easily inspecting a sterilization element or electrodes and easily replacing the sterilization element, etc. as a sterilization device to sterilize air by generating electrolytic water including hypochlorous acid to make an inexpensive sterilization unit without requiring an ultrasonic vibrator or high-pressure generating device. SOLUTION: The sterilization unit comprises a water storage part for receiving water fed from a water tank; an electrolysis part soaked in water fed from the water storage part, having electrodes for generating electrolytic water including hypochlorous acid; a water receiving part to which the electrolytic water generated in the electrolysis part is introduced; the sterilization element with an air passage formed in the horizontal direction between electrolytic water suction elements whose lower parts are soaked in electrolytic water in the water receiving part; and a blower for generating forcing wind passing through the air passage in a housing. A cassette constituting the plumbing part from the water storage part to the water receiving part is incorporated in the housing in such a way as can be taken out/in upward.
