<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine vessel propulsive machine furnished with a first drive shaft connected to an engine and a second drive shaft connected to the first drive shaft and capable of facilitating security of a space to provide a water intake by making use of arrangement of the second drive shaft in the rear of the first drive shaft. <P>SOLUTION: An outboard motor is furnished with a propulsive shaft 17 driven to rotate by motive power output from an output gear mechanism 50 to which motive power of the drive shafts 31, 32 is input and a gear case 13 to store the output gear mechanism 50. The second drive shaft 32 is arranged offset to the rear from the first drive shaft 31 and extends downward below the first drive shaft 31. The water intake 98 of water sucked by a water pump 90 is provided between the first drive shaft 31 and the output gear mechanism 50 in the vertical direction and in front of the second drive shaft 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
