PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component capable of surely preventing connection with polarity reversed when connecting a terminal with a power distribution member, and to provide a power supply device. SOLUTION: In an electrolytic capacitor 1 shown as an example of an electronic component; a round hole 41 is formed only on an annular upper end surface 46 of a cathode terminal 40 among the cathode terminal 40 and an anode terminal provided on a sealing terminal board 2, and a protrusion 150 fitting into the round hole 41 is formed on a bus bar 15 connected with the terminal 40. Since, therefore, the bus bar 15 cannot overlap the anode terminal, connection can be surely prevented with the reverse polarity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
