PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet replenishing device applying less loads on a worker. SOLUTION: In this sheet replenishing device installed in the paper feed part of a sheet-fed printer, an auxiliary pile lifting mechanism comprises columns 13, brackets 14a, 14b which are first and second support vertically slidable along the column portions of the columns 13, an auxiliary pile lifting device (drive device) 15 installed on the outside of a paper feed part frame 37, a printing part auxiliary pile bar 17 installed on the printing part side, a first bar member (working side auxiliary pile bar 18a) installed on the working side, and a second bar member (working side auxiliary pile bar 18b) installed on the working side.
