PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hopper with a bridge prevention function constituted to feed powders charged from an upper part, by a screw conveyor arranged substantially horizontally in a lower part, by arranging a partitioning plate for preventing occurrence of bridge phenomenon in the hopper so as to prevent occurrence of bridge phenomenon. SOLUTION: The hopper for feeding powders charged from the upper part, by the screw conveyor 3 arranged substantially horizontally in the lower part, is provided with: the partitioning plate 5 erected in parallel with a rotary shaft of the screw conveyor 3 in an upper part of the screw conveyor 3, fixed, with one end part, to a horizontal shaft 6 crossing the rotary shaft of the screw conveyor 3 orthogonally pivotally, and abutted on a lower end of the other end part on a screw 3b of the screw conveyor 3 in the hopper; and a regulation means 7 approaching the other end part of the partitioning plate 5, and allowing swing in the vertical direction of the partitioning plate 5 but regulating swing onto a side.
