PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber reinforced plastic member which is lightweight, excellent in mechanical characteristics such as strength and elastic modulus, and also, excellent in surface smoothness or long-term reliability. SOLUTION: This fiber reinforced plastic member contains a constituent element (A): a fiber reinforced plastic, a constituent element (B): a low elasticity surface layer of which the tensile elasticity is 0.1 to 500 MPa, and a constituent element (C): a high elasticity surface layer of which the tensile elasticity is 1,000 to 30,000 MPa. The constituent element (C) is arranged at least on one surface of the constituent element (A) through the constituent element (B). Also, when the solubility parameter of the constituent element (B) is taken asδ<SB>1</SB>, and the solubility parameter of the constituent element (C) is taken asδ<SB>2</SB>, equation (1): ¾δ<SB>1</SB>-δ<SB>2</SB>¾≤2 is satisfied.
