<p>The sheath element (2) for a sheathed-element glow plug (1) for locating in a chamber of an internal combustion engine has a ceramic heating element (13) which forms a glow tip (14), and a hot tube (12) which extends as far as the glow tip. The ceramic heating element is connected to the hot tube and to a connecting bolt (10). The ceramic heating element is formed from a homogeneous ceramic material. The ceramic heating element is connected to the connecting bolt in its center region (23), and connected to the hot tube in an outer region (24).</p> |
