<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure tank sealing structure for suppressing the degradation of the performance of a seal member while securing the sealing performance. <P>SOLUTION: The high pressure tank sealing structure comprises a high pressure tank for storing high pressure gas, and the seal member provided thereon for holding the sealing performance. A temperature control means is located adjacent to the seal member for controlling the temperature of the seal member. The temperature control means is formed with a backup ring for heating the seal member.
